Sponsored
Golden Oldies
|
How would you
like to sponsor one of our Golden Oldies?
These
cats often go to elderly owners who, without the scheme, would be unable
to afford to keep a cat but are now able to give a loving home to a cat
that would probably spend it’s twilight years in an outdoor pen. This benefits both parties and has, in some instances, proved a
vital lifeline to the owner whose life takes on a new sense of purpose. |
|
Sponsors
will receive a pack with a photograph of their cat, a copy of the branch
newsletter on a quarterly basis and are welcome to visit by pre
arrangement with the cat’s owner. We will also provide a regular update
on how the cat is getting on. All we ask from you is either a donation or
a monthly payment, which can be paid to us by Standing Order or by
cheque. |
|
This is a co-sponsorship scheme with a number
of people sponsoring each Golden Oldie. Your money will go towards helping
to pay the veterinary costs of all our Golden Oldies, including the cat you
choose to sponsor. |

TIGGER
Tigger
is an 11 year old, short haired, tortoiseshell & tabby female. She is a little
nervous but appreciates attention and is very gentle. |

BOYZE
Boyze
is a grey and white 10 year old male cat. He is an FIV+ cat so he is not
allowed outside with other animals. He came into care after his family
could no longer look after him. He is a very affectionate lap cat who
loves to sleep all day. |

BOBBY
Bobby is a short haired, black and white
male of 13 years. Sadly his owner died and he has found it very difficult to
adjust as he is very wary of humans. Happily he has now found a home, where
they accept him as he is and he can now begin to enjoy his life again. |

WHISKAS
Whiskas is
a 10 year old black and white short haired male cat. He likes other cats and
older children but doesn't like dogs. His owners emigrated and couldn't take
him with them. He is very affectionate. |
