How would you like to sponsor one of our Cat Pens?
All our cats and kittens awaiting new homes are cared for by a team of
dedicated volunteer fosterers. The cats are kept either in purpose built
pens in fosterer's gardens, or in their own homes. Sponsorship is a way we
can raise much needed income to help pay for the vet bills, food, litter and
the general upkeep of the pens etc.
|
|
Many cats pass through these pens/homes
during a year and by sponsoring a pen for a regular amount each month,
(minimum £3), you will receive a quarterly newsletter giving stories and
photographs of the cats that pass through. You may also visit your pen by
pre-arrangement.
If you do not want to commit to sponsor for a
full year, you could buy a single gift sponsorship for a one-off payment of
£10. |
|
This
way you can get to know what it is like to be a fosterer without actually
having to do it!

Purpose built pens in
fosterer's gardens provide warm and comfortable accommodation for the cats
until a new home can be found for them. |
|

A heater and a cosy warm bed ensures that
the cats can be helped to cope with what can be a stressful time for them. |
|
|
|

For some of the more nervous cats the
security of a closed door helps them until they are ready to face a new
challenge. |
|
Some cats are easier to
rehome than others but the example below gives an idea of how many cats
passed through a pair of cat pens in the first three months of 2006.
