Welcome to the web site of The Worthing & District Branch of Cats Protection, this web site has been created to highlight the work carried out by a devoted group of volunteers who care and love cats and to appeal for kind loving homes for the cats and kittens in our responsibility.

The site gives you the chance to support us in our efforts to care for all the cats that we help, you can either join as a member and receive our quarterly newsletter ' The Scratching Post' or simply offer a donation which will help to pay for the increasing costs to look after those unfortunate cats that seek our help.

If you click on 'Fund-Raising' in the panel on the left that will take you to the section that explains all the many ways that you can support our efforts.

Special Appeal for Funds

From time to time we are asked to take on the veterinary costs involved when a stray cat has been badly injured in, for example, a road traffic accident and needs extensive care and recuperation.

Recently, a young female cat suffered injuries which required the amputation of a hind leg and the pinning of another leg from which she is now slowly recovering.

If you would like to make a contribution towards the costs involved, please 'click' on our News page to find a picture of Olive, the cat involved, and details of how to make a donation.
